You can’t add contacts directly to an automation because automations run based on triggers. For example, if your automation starts when a tag is added, you’ll need to add that tag to a contact to trigger it.

What You Can Do:

• Add contacts to a workflow instead. Workflows let you manually include contacts and move them through a set of steps.
