1. Create an AI Chatbot

  1. Navigate to Live Chat in the left-side menu.

  2. Select AI Chatbot.

  3. Click Create New.

  4. Enter the following details:

    • Chatbot Name

    • Chatbot Role

  5. Click Save.

 Your AI Chatbot will now be created successfully.


2. Customize Your Chatbot

You can customize your chatbot’s appearance, personality, and prompts to match your brand voice.

 

a. AI Persona

  1. Go to the Customization section.

  2. Select AI Persona.

  3. In the right-hand panel, update the following details:

    • Chatbot Name

    • Chatbot Role

    • Welcome Message

    • Input Placeholder Text

    • Button Text (for localization)

    • Chatbot Profile Icon

  4. Click Save Changes to apply updates.


b. Actions (Quick Prompts)

Quick actions allow users to interact instantly with predefined messages.

  1. Go to the Actions section.

  2. Click Add Action.

  3. In the new window:

    • Enter a Title.

    • Select Action Type: Message or Connect to Live Agent.

    • Enter the Message text.

  4. Click Add Action.

The quick prompt will now appear on the chat widget.


c. Rules

Rules control where and when the chatbot appears (e.g., specific pages or mobile devices).

  1. Go to the Rules section.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Select preferred conditions from the dropdown:

    • Page URL

    • Mobile Device

     

  4. Apply AND/OR conditions if needed.

  5. Click Save Changes.


3. Train the AI Chatbot

You can train your chatbot using Links, Files, or your Knowledge Base. This ensures the chatbot provides accurate, context-aware responses.


You can train your chatbot using website links or a sitemap.

  1. Go to the Train your AI Chatbot section.

  2. Click Add → Select Links.

  1. Enter the website URLs to train from.

  2. Click Train.

3. Monitor the Status column for progress.If a link shows In Progress, click Refresh to update the training status.

 

Your chatbot will now be trained with the provided website content.

 

 


Option 2: Train with Sitemap

  1. Go to the Train your AI Chatbot  section.

  2. Click Add → Select Sitemap.

  3. Enter your Website URL.

  4. (Optional) Add Excluded URLs to skip specific pages.

  5. Click Fetch Links to list all available URLs.

  6. Select the desired pages and click Start Training.

Your chatbot will now learn from the selected website pages.

You can retrain your chatbot anytime by clicking the Retrain button.


b. Train with Files

  1. Go to the Files tab.

  2. Click Add Files.

  3. Upload a PDF file (currently supports PDFs only).

  4.  Click Start Training.

The chatbot will be trained using your uploaded file.

Files can be retrained later if updated.


c. Train with Knowledge Base

  1. Go to the Knowledge Base section.

  2. Click Sync Knowledge Base.

     

  3. In the popup window, select the articles you want to include.
  4. Click Start Training.

 Selected articles will now be trained to the chatbot.


4. View Chatbot Reports

To analyze chatbot performance:

  1. Go to the Insights tab.

  2. Review detailed analytics and reports, including engagement and training statistics.
